Directions to Moose Jaw Minor Girls Fastball Diamonds

We play at Optimist Park, on the south side of Moose Jaw, 500 block of Lillooet St. West.

Via Trans Canada Highway (#1) From the West

Turn right (south) on 9th NW (at the A&W restaurant) and follow this street south until you cross a long bridge over the railway yards. Once you have crossed over the bridge turn left (East) at the first immediate traffic light (two gas stations) on to Lillooet St. Travel past the hockey rinks, then the running track/football field (Gutheridge Field), and we are just past the Vittera Seed Plant.

Via Trans Canada Highway & Main St. (Intersection of #1 & #2 North)

Enter Southbound and continue through the city until you reach the end of Main St. It is a 'T' intersection at the old Railway Station. Turn right (west) on Manitoba St. and continue to follow the road to the left up and over the long bridge that spans the railway yards on to 4th Ave SW . At the first traffic light (Lillooet St) turn right (west) and we are 1 block away on the left (south).

Via Trans Canada (#1) From the East

As you approach Moose Jaw look for a left turn off onto the Manitoba Expressway. Follow this road into Moose Jaw and at the first traffic lights turn left (south), going under the railway tracks. Follow this street up to Coteau St. (Cornerstone Christian School on the left). Turn right (west) and go to the next 4 way stop (4th Ave SW). Continue on past this stop 1 block and we are on your right (north).

Parking

Parking is available on the street adjacent to the park, however, please be careful of parking too close to the fences on the western edge of the park. Those spots right beside the gate are available for a reason. Foul balls frequently travel over the fence and having to purchase a new windshield is not the best souvenir of your trip.

The Vittera lot, directly adjacent to Diamond 3 (see map above) is available as is the parking lot for Riverview Collegiate (NW of Diamond #3) which can be accessed from Coteau St. between the two schools (Empire & Riverview).
